From 17th until the 19th of May, London is the capital of the bride. In the city of the UK, they are held during these dates two important fairs of the international bridal market, The White Gallery and The LBfw.

On one side, the striking contemporary structure of Battersea Evolution in Battersea Park will be transformed into an exclusive and elegant showroom, where the top names in bridal design will showcase their new collections to buyers and press from around the world.

On the other hand, the London Bridal Fashion Week (LBfw) will be held for the first time at the Old Billingsgate, the iconic London venue on the north bank of the Thames, overlooking the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the Shard and aimed to become a platform whose purpose is to fully represent the interests of the sector.

Barcelona Bridal Week brought down the curtain on its 25th edition. This is a particularly emblematic show in the event's history and the most international ever.

With the USA as guest country and Katharine Polk of Houghton Bride as the first ‘special guest designer'. No fewer than 60% of visitors were from abroad as well as the 200 VIP buyers invited by the show's organizers. Everyone came to watch the 23 firms who presented their 2016 collections on the catwalk and to discover the products of the more than 230 brands that exhibited at the trade fair, half of which came from some 15 countries.
